Writer’s conferences are good opportunities to learn, network, and even pitch to agents. This conference in particular allowed me an 8-minute pitch session with an agent. When I learned about this conference, I knew that it was an opportunity I had to grasp. In this blog post, I will talk about non-writing related things I learned about attending a writer’s conference.

I want to discuss some of the big things that I think aren’t talked about a lot. These things about writing shocked me.
